K+S- LEGACY- EARLY CAVERN DEVELOP

Legacy is a green field project for the setting up of a potash production on the basis of solution mining in the south of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The 4 billion dollar potash solution mine has a fully integrated ABB 800xa DCS system. This system includes Profibus instrumentation, E3+ motor control & IEC61850 Power Distribution Control. The total production of the Legacy site is 2.86 Million metric tons of potash per year.
